Do you replace tension and extension springs?
Absolutely! Our technicians are fully knowledgeable when it comes to either type of spring and will be to get your garage door working soon after. Whether you have an extension spring that snapped from being worn down and needs to be switched out, or a tension spring that's lost its twist, we can assist you. We'll also check the other springs to see if it would be best for them to be switched out as well in the process. Remember that these parts can be extremely dangerous due to their tension, so it’s highly recommended to avoid any DIY kind of work.
Do you perform safety sensor testing?
Yes! We are happy to come out and ensure that your garage door is safe for kids, pets, and anyone else around. We'll perform various tests and checks to carefully determine how well your sensors function and system reacts overall. We'll give suggestions and help if there's anything that we find that doesn't match the appropriate standards. If your system is fairly old, it may require an upgrade to ensure that it's functioning as it should be and will keep everyone safe.
Why can I hear my opener working, but the door isn't moving?
There is a possibility that your garage door opener has been disengaged. That means that the emergency release cord has been pulled, or that the trolley carriage broke and became detached from the door. You can check your owner's manual to learn how to reengage the opener in the event the emergency release cord is pulled. If it's a matter of physical damage that led to this problem, you'll need to have the door repaired by a professional. Our team is here to help.
